Artwork > The Mother Window

The Mother Window is a large steel laser cut barn door shutter located at the old Rogers Milk Plant, an historic creamery building in downtown Rogers, Arkansas, originally built by the Carnation Milk Company to receive and cool milk from local dairy farmers.

The window depicts Melbre Garbro Crystal a holstein cow raised by an Oklahoma-based 4H participant and exhibited for the 2019 4-State Dairy Days event at the Benton County Fairgrounds in Bentonville, Arkansas.

In the evening the halftone image creates a glowing cow form from the exterior, and during daytime hours, when the sun is in the right position, the image is projected on interior surfaces of the building.
